Privacy · A Day With a Tentacle
Your puzzles. Your device.
Updated 21 October 2026
This policy describes the planned release version of A Day With a Tentacle and these product pages. The game is developed by Alessandro Iob. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to adwat@iob.dev.
The game works offline
The release game is designed to work offline. Alessandro Iob does not collect personal data or gameplay analytics through the game. There are no advertisements, third-party analytics SDKs, account sign-ups or developer-operated network services in the release app.
Game data stays on your device
Progress, preferences and help history are saved locally. The developer does not receive this information. Deleting the app may remove its local data; it does not necessarily remove copies in device backups.
There is no developer-operated cloud sync. Apple device backups may include app files according to your settings.
Apple services
Apple processes App Store downloads, payments, device backups and optional diagnostics under its own terms and your privacy choices. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s privacy policy explains its own data practices.
These web pages
The adwat.iob.dev website stores your selected interface language and colour theme in your browser’s local storage. These preferences can be removed using your browser’s site-data controls.
Fonts, artwork and screenshots are served by this website. These pages have no third-party analytics or advertising embeds. The hosting provider receives technical connection information, such as an IP address, to serve and protect the website and may keep server logs. No specific log-retention period is stated here.
When you contact support
If you email adwat@iob.dev, your email address, message and attachments are used to answer your request and manage the conversation. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.
Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask about or request deletion of that correspondence by emailing the same address, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Your choices
You can remove local game data by deleting the app, manage backups and diagnostics through Apple’s settings, and clear website preferences in your browser. Apple controls data held by its own services.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated if the game or website’s data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
